Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted anything here. As most of you know, Sonia was diagnosed with uterine cancer at the end of June. Since that time she has gone through a number of tests to find out the exact location and severity of the cancer. This past week we received results from a cervical biopsy that was CLEAR of any cancer. As I write this, she is scheduled for a 2nd and hopefully final D&C procedure on Wednesday, August 17th to find out if there is any cancer in her uterus.

Through it all, God has proven Himself faithful and true in every way. He has been our Rock to stand on, our comfort and peace in the middle of a storm. He is the joy of our salvation. Simply put, He is our Everything, the Becoming One. Becoming everything we need in every circumstance we face. I could not imagine Sonia or I going through this without Jesus by our side, pulling us through.

I want to thank all of you who are reading this that have been praying for us and sending words of comfort and encouragement, reminding us of the great love with which our Father loves us. Jesus is shining through you and using you to minister to us. We are so thankful for you and your support and we're thankful that the Lord has given us so many wonderful brothers and sisters to come along side of us. You guys have been a Huge blessing.

At this point, we believe that we should press on and begin the Home Fellowship this upcoming Friday the 19th, trusting that God is going to take care of all the details. We have set up a website to let people here know who we are at www.calvarybluewater.com. I'd like to ask you to pray for this ministry. We have been eager to get started and we can't wait to see what the Lord wants to do in this place filled with people that He loves.
